Girls' night out

Dinner at Kenjo's, a small Japanese restuarant, down in Hart avenue in TST. Angel picked me up at the studio as I got there a little earlier. Surprised to be caught up in Sunday night traffic!
Arrived at Kenjo's around 7:25pm and sat down for about 5 minutes before Shery came along. It was really sweet of A & S to invite me out tonight.
I can't recall having a girls' night out in a long time. When Shery asked me out for dinner with Angel, I had thought about the reason or reasons behind it. Maybe it was to celebrate my birthday in advance? Or talk about the school/students? =)

Well, it was the latter.

I guess they were both concerned with how I am coping alone, without my husband and the girls. But at the same time, really impressed with this year's Summer Camp and performance and how their kids are all working so well together in class.

Both A & S were just thinking how to encourage and convince me to expand my school, because it is so good, and what a huge waste it was not to make it even more successful and MORE commercial!
I shared with my GFs, that my work is so unique, so organic, and takes so much time, effort and care, that it is not the usual ballet or dance class, that it's NOT commercial. It's like a private group class, taught by me, to students who have grown with me for the past 6/7 years.

I had wanted to expand, but sometimes it's not about expanding. Sometimes, the work takes you to another level. All along I had wanted to produce the products to promote my teaching and now, I know I am on the right path.
Hopefully A & S will understand. =)

Overall, it was a very easy, comfortable and fun evening and the food wasn't too bad.
Oh, I invited A & S to join this Thursday's The Moon Party at the studio, to take a class with me! You should have seen Shery's face and Angel's laughter!

I am thankful for every little JOY my students have given me through their voices, smiles and spirit! And for my support group, the Parents! ^ ^

Girls' school board

So sweet of Andreas to send me this. He said it reminded him of me!

World's Greatest Singer!

My student, Anjali, brought this gift back from Singapore for me! It made my day, even if I am not the world's greatest singer! Thank you, my dear Anjali. =)
