Nam Wa Po Garden Fall 2010

Fall Sunshine

My favorite - I call it the butterfly plant but it's actually the purple shamrock, the leaves folds when the sun goes down and it's so pretty and easy to care for. No direct sunlight, heat or extreme cold. Light violet flowers bloom

Nam Wa Po Garden October 13th 2010

The tree in the middle of this photo, is the sister tree to the huge tree we freed. Anyone know the name of this tree/plant?

Notice the rubber tree lying on its side, in the same soil box, next to the tree we freed?

We did not realise that this rubber plant had also grown so much, that it was too heavy to stand up and finally fell on its side and its roots grew out of its pot into the soil box! We had to free it and this is what it looks like now! =)

Nam Wa Po Garden

This tree had been growing in the corner for awhile and we did not notice it was being tied up by the pine tree next to it. Still its roots went through the hole in it's tiny pot into the soil and managed to grow over 20 feet! The tree is in the middle of this picture, right where Ella is. =)
We cut off two feet on the top and waiting to find a bigger pot to repot it and let it stay there.
Isn't this an amazing tree? It was only about three feet when I got it two years ago. =)
